Delivery conditions
At Charmig, we think it's important that you know what to expect from us. Both in terms of the items you order from us and the delivery! Therefore, on all orders with a purchase amount above €100, we offer FREE shipping! So no unexpected additional costs.
For orders with a purchase value below €100, we charge €65 delivery costs (excluding the Wadden Islands). Can the parcel be sent by post? Then of course we will do so.
To offer this service, there are some ground rules attached to this:
After you have placed your order with us, we will ship on working days within 24 hours contact you for a delivery appointment.
We work with our courier partner Brenger. We cannot yet agree a time slot with you during the delivery appointment. Brenger will send you an e-mail around 20:00 the evening before delivery, giving a time slot of 4 hours. On the day itself you will receive the courier's phone number for any questions.
It is important to note that the courier will deliver the item to the first threshold on the ground floor. Does the furniture need to go upstairs? This is possible at a small extra cost, would you please indicate this directly with your order?
Please note that the courier only comes! We help the courier in our warehouse to load the furniture, someone should be present to help unload the furniture. Is this not possible? We can schedule an additional courier at an additional cost.
We are not responsible for damage to your purchase, or to property caused by additional work. You are responsible for ensuring that the furniture fits through door frames, hallway etc.
Are you unexpectedly not at home? Then we will be forced to charge you for the transport.
We are also forced to pass on the cost if; a wrong address has been given; no one turns out to be present to help with lifting; the product does not fit inside; no extra floor appears to have been requested.
Do you want to cancel the transport? This is possible until 48 hours in advance.
We reserve the right to postpone delivery at any time due to force majeure. You can think of car trouble, traffic jams or other unforeseen circumstances. We or Bringer will then contact you as soon as possible to discuss another date.
The delivery driver will ask you to sign for damage-free receipt. It is therefore important to unpack the furniture and check it for any damage that may have occurred during transport. In the unlikely event that this is the case, we would ask you to report this within 48 hours. We pack our furniture very well for transport, and do more than our utmost to prevent this!
